Role Responsibilities - SEN Teaching Assistant

Provide one-to-one and small-group support
Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Support communication using visual aids, PECS, or Makaton
Assist with sensory regulation and emotional support
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families

Skills and Experience Required:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Understanding of autism and complex needs
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Ability to support personal care if required
Team player with strong communication skills
