SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Northfield, B31 Pay Rate: £500 - £525 per week Start Date: ASAP Contract: Monday - Friday, long-term temp to perm.

Long Term Futures are recruiting for a resilient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Northfield, Birmingham. This role will be based in a Year 4 class, supporting a challenging classroom, including support 3 pupils with Autism. The role involves a mixture of small group interventions and whole-class support, working closely with the class teacher to provide structure, consistency and targeted support for pupils with additional needs. This position is a long-term role and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to be made permanent. The school is looking for a proactive, accommodating and positive person who is looking to excel and become a crucial part of their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD Support learning within a Year 4 classroom, particularly within a challenging small group Implement strategies to support behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track and support progress Promote a positive, structured and inclusive learning environmentIdeal Candidate Profile:
