SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham (B14) Start Date: September 2025 Weekly Pay: £455 - £480 Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in the lives of children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kings Heath (B14) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Pathways Provision, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1.
The Role:
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis within the provision with pupils who have a range of needs including, Autism, ADHD, Speech and language difficulties and challenging behaviour. Delivering learning activities that align with whole-class content but are tailored to meet individual needs. Adapting resources and approaches to suit specific learning and behavioural requirements. Working closely with other Teaching Assistants and school staff to promote a calm, safe, and supportive environment. Using your knowledge of the KS1 curriculum to ensure content remains educationally appropriate and engaging.What We're Looking For:
