Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and ambitious secondary school in Newham.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

Work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to implement personalised learning plans

Provide 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom

Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Monitor and record student progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred)

Be patient, resilient, and nurturing

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
