Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Role\nLocation: Erdington\nRole Type: Long-term / Ongoing\nStart Date: ASAP / Next Term\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist complex needs school in the Erdington area. This is a long-term position and is best suited to someone with hands-on experience supporting pupils with complex needs.\n\nThe role will involve:\n\n * \n\n Supporting pupils with complex learning needs, including a combination of ASD, PMLD, SLD, SEMH, and physical or medical needs\n\n * \n\n Providing 1:1 and small-group support in a specialist setting\n\n * \n\n Assisting with personal care where required\n\n * \n\n Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff\n\n * \n\n Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\n * \n\n Previous experience working with complex needs (essential)\n\n * \n\n A calm, resilient, and patient approach\n\n * \n\n A strong understanding of behaviour management and sensory needs\n\n * \n\n Relevant TA or SEN qualifications (desirable but not essential depending on experience)\n\nWhy apply?\n\n * \n\n Long-term, stable role in a specialist setting\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils with complex needs\n\n * \n\n Supportive and experienced staff team\n\nIf you are a Teaching Assistant with experience in complex needs and are looking for a long-term role in Erdington, we would like to hear from you
