The provision caters for pupils aged 11-16 with a diverse range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, communication challenges, and complex learning difficulties, all supported through Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). About the role: Provide 1:1 tailored and small group support for pupils with learning difficulties. This is across the years 11-16-year-olds Demonstrate empathy with and an appreciation of the care needs of students Implement specific interventions to meet student needs Work collaboratively with teachers, professionals and families to deliver personalised learning plans Inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues Engage and motivate students About You: Experience in supporting pupils with additional needs in school or youth work setting Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trust with students A calm, patient and adaptable approach to challenges A genuine passion for helping young people succeed academically and personally Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community Have a clear and precise understanding of how children with special needs, Autism and complex behaviour learn.
