Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a heart for supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2? We are currently partnering with a welcoming SEN school in Bedford that is looking for several resilient and caring individuals to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity where you can build lasting relationships and see the direct impact of your support on students’ daily lives.

Your Responsibilities:

Support Learning: Help pupils navigate their educational journey and reach their personal development goals.
Engage & Motivate: Use creative communication aids and sensory tools to keep students focused and excited about learning.
Collaborate: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside teachers and therapists to bring EHCPs to life.
Foster a Positive Space: Ensure the classroom remains a safe, inclusive, and happy environment for every child.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Previous experience supporting children or young people (SEN experience is highly valued).
Safeguarding: A strong commitment to pupil welfare and a solid understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Mindset: A calm, patient, and compassionate approach—even when faced with challenging situations.
Teamwork: Brilliant interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with other staff members.
Compliance: An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
