About the Role:

TP Tutors is seeking passionate and committed educators in the Dereham, Norfolk area who want to make a real difference in childrens lives. You will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, delivering high-quality English, Science and Maths sessions to support their academic progress, improve engagement, and build confidence.

Many of the students we support receive tuition outside of mainstream school settings, providing a highly rewarding opportunity to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions in English, Science and Maths.

  • Support learners with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs using a child-centred approach.

  • Implement effective behaviour strategies to maintain motivation and focus.

  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to guide next steps.

Requirements:

  • Professional teaching qualifications preferred (QTS or equivalent) or 2 year of teaching experience, though experienced tutors are welcome to apply.

  • Strong subject knowledge in English, Science and Maths.

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs.

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one support provided).
