Are you an SEN Tutor or SEN Teacher ready to take the next step into teaching?

We are recruiting a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English to small groups of young people aged 16–24 who may be NEET or have SEN and EHCPs. Many learners face barriers to education, including low confidence or previous disengagement from school, so your role will be key in helping them rebuild confidence and achieve recognised qualifications.

Class sizes are intentionally small (typically 2–4 learners) so you can adapt your approach and provide the support each learner needs.

Teaching takes place across several sites during the week:

Monday: Bexley Tuesday: Work from home (planning and admin) Wednesday: Reading Thursday: Work from home (planning and preparation) Friday: Havering (Romford)Driving can be helpful but is not essential, as the Elizabeth Line provides a direct route to Reading.

The Role

You will deliver Functional Skills Maths and English (Entry Level 3 – Level 2) in supportive small-group sessions.
