Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work 1:1 with a young person (currently in Year 9) currently not attending school, supporting their learning in Maths and English and helping them gradually reintegrate into the classroom environment.

As an SEN Tutor you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 tuition in Maths and English Support the emotional and academic development of a young person with additional needs Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure a smooth transition back into education Deliver engaging, creative, and flexible sessions that meet the learner's individual needs Complete weekly reports and attendance for the young personAbout you:

Experience working with young people in UK schools Experience of working with learners with SEN, SEMH needs, EBSA, physical/ emotional dysregulation and implimenting deescalation stratergies. Calm, nurturing, energetic and positive Strong understanding of safeguarding practices Knowledge of the national curriculumPosition - SEN Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Opportunities for both Hours - 15 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.
