SEN Tutor / SEND Tutor – Ealing | Autism | SEMH | ADHD | Ages 5–25 | 1:1 Tuition

New Chapter Tuition is recruiting experienced and passionate SEN / SEND Tutors to provide 1:1 personalised tuition to children and young people aged 5–25 across Ealing and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for teachers, tutors, learning mentors, HLTAs, teaching assistants, and education professionals with experience supporting learners with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and complex additional needs.

You will deliver high-quality, nurture-led education in community settings including family homes, libraries, learning hubs, and alternative provisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 SEN / SEND tuition for learners aged 5–25
• Support students with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, and additional needs
• Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes
• Adapt sessions in line with EHCPs and learning plans
• Use trauma-informed and nurture-based approaches
• Build positive relationships to support engagement and wellbeing
• Track progress and complete session reports
• Liaise with parents, schools, and professionals

Requirements

Experience supporting SEN / SEND learners (Autism, SEMH, ADHD)

*

Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

*

Background as a teacher, tutor, HLTA, TA, mentor, or education professional preferred

*

Calm, patient, and resilient approach

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to deliver tuition independently in home or community settings

*

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

*

Right to work in the UK
