SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Bedford Start: April 2026 (after Easter break) Full Time Until Summer Break (July 2026) £95 – £105 per day A supportive and inclusive primary school in Bedford is looking to appoint a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team after Easter. You’ll be working closely with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.

The school is part of a well-regarded multi-academy trust, offering a collaborative approach, strong SEN support structures, and opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners across multiple settings.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs Support emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Essential Job Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEND (school-based or similar) Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Why join Teaching Personnel:
