SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Part-time, starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic yearThis is an exciting opportunity to join a school where pupils thrive in a caring and inclusive environment. Provide one-to-one support for a Year 6 pupil with an EHCP for Moderate Learning Difficulties until the end of the academic year
Support a Year 5 pupil until the regular TA returns from sick leave
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual needs
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Maintain accurate records and liaise with the SENCO and teaching staff
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupilsIdeal SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting
Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties
Ability to build positive relationships and encourage independence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
