SEND Teaching Assistant (Experience Essential)

Location: Lewisham, London
Pay Range: £90 – £115 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary / Long-Term

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in Lewisham. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

This role requires prior experience working within SEND settings.

The Role – SEND Teaching Assistant

You will provide targeted support to pupils with SEND, working both 1:1 and in small groups. You will assist with learning activities, behaviour management, and emotional support, ensuring pupils can access the curriculum effectively.

Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:

* Have essential experience supporting children with SEND

* Be confident working with a range of additional needs

* Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills

* Be proactive, patient, and adaptable

* Work effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
