Your new role We are excited to offer the opportunity for a creative, resilient and open-minded Positive Relationships Mentor to work with our exceptional learners. The Positive Relationships Mentor will support promoting the highest possible standards of behaviour of the learners at Wilds Lodge School, including:

● Involvement in developing and enhancing the behaviour management skills of staff working across the school and setting targets for improvement ● Implementing agreed strategies to manage and improve the behaviour of learners in the school ● Delivering 1:1 and small group behaviour support when necessary

What you'll need to succeed The appointed candidate will have experience working with learners who have behavioural difficulties. You will have a broad knowledge of strategies used for teaching children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and those who have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). You will know how to develop, provide and deliver behavioural support for learners and how to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of staff.
