SEND Teacher Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN 1 depending on qualifications Start: September 2026 Job description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our specialist school in the heart of Westminster, working with Reception - KS5 pupils with Global Development delays. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, helping them develop both academically and socially in a supportive, structured environment. We welcome applications from both experienced SEND teachers and mainstream teachers who are looking to transition into special education—full training and ongoing support will be provided. What We Are Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (Essential). Class teacher role with care and pastoral responsibility for a class of primary aged learners. Proven primary teaching experience in UK schools. SEN experience preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate a keen interest in SEN. A passion for working with young people with Autism (ASC) and complex needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning. A commitment to promoting inclusion and independence for all learners. Willingness to undertake training in communication approaches (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, Makaton). What We Offer: Comprehensive training and support for teachers transitioning from mainstream education.
