SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & SEMH) Job Summary

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

You will support pupils both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis within the classroom. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the planning, preparation and delivery of tailored learning activities. Adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of individual pupils. Monitoring and encouraging progress in both academic and personal development. Building valuable experience working directly with pupils with complex needs and behavioural challenges.

This role is well suited to aspiring SEN Teachers, Educational Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists.
