Aspire People is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to support primary school pupils with special educational needs across Manchester. These roles are ideal for those who are passionate about inclusion, working with children with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties, and want to make a meaningful impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
Assist pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development.
Support classroom learning and differentiated tasks in Maths, English, and other subjects.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to implement support plans.
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reporting and assessments.
Support personal care, sensory needs, or other individual requirements as needed.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has recent experience working with SEND pupils in a school, youth, or care setting.
Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning needs.
Understands safeguarding and inclusive practices.
Can communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.
Holds or is willing to obtain relevant TA qualifications (Level 2/Level 3 desirable).
