The Opportunity:

Join a dedicated and nurturing all-through special needs school in the Derby (DE3) area, supporting children aged 11-16 with a range of complex needs including autism, communication difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and behavioural needs. This is a long-term, full-time role beginning in September 2025, perfect for experienced SEN practitioners looking to make a meaningful and lasting difference in a specialist setting. Collaborate with experienced SENCOs, class teachers, and therapists to provide highly personalised support. Paid up to £110 per day with free on-site parking and immediate trial days available.Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with autism, SEMH, and other complex additional needs in developing independence, social skills, and emotional regulation. Contribute to creating a structured, predictable, and safe learning environment through consistent routines and positive behaviour strategies. Work under the guidance of the SENCo to implement tailored education plans (EHCPs) and learning interventions.
