SEND Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Hindley Green (WN2) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temporary, long-term role starting as soon as possible.
This position involves working one-to-one with a Year 1 child with Autism and Complex Needs.
The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable to the individual learning needs of the child. You will play a key role in supporting the pupil’s educational and emotional development within a structured and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support for a Year 1 pupil with Autism and Complex Needs * Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day * Prepare daily resources and support learning activities * Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment * Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and Complex Needs * Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
