Job Description

A welcoming Primary School in Hounslow is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year.

In this role, you will be supporting pupils with Speech and Language needs and learning difficulties, helping them access learning and develop their communication and social skills within the classroom.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with Speech and Language needs and additional learning needs
• Working with children 1:1 and in small groups
• Supporting communication, engagement and classroom learning
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with SEN pupils in a primary school or similar setting
• Patient, supportive and proactive approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
