SEND Teaching Assistant

A supportive and inclusive Primary School in Ealing is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year.

The role will involve supporting children with Autism (ASC) who may present challenging behaviour within a mainstream classroom. The school is seeking a confident and patient individual with strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting children with additional needs.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC) in class and in small groups

Managing and supporting challenging behaviour positively

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Supporting pupils' learning, social development, and emotional regulation

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour is essential

Experience working in a primary school or SEN setting

Calm, patient, and resilient approach
