A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Islington is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

The school has a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos and commitment to supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD and speech & language difficulties.

The Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support
Assisting with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Supporting children's communication, social skills and emotional regulation
Implementing strategies such as visual timetables, PECS and structured interventions
Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (school or similar setting)
Confident working with pupils with Autism and/or behavioural needs
Calm, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
