You’ll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised learning and ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed. Key Responsibilities of a SEND Teaching Assistant: * Provide tailored SEND support to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis * Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and adapt materials to meet pupil needs * Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges * Promote inclusion and encourage pupil independence in the classroom * Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm and positive learning environment * Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other Teaching Assistants to support holistic child development Who We’re Looking For: * Experienced Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants with SEND experience * Individuals with Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications (or equivalent) * Professionals with experience working in mainstream or specialist settings * Candidates passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs * Graduates or individuals with relevant experience in childcare, youth work, or care settings If you’re patient, empathetic, and eager to make a real impact, this could be the perfect role for you!
