Job Description

A supportive and inclusive Primary School in Ealing is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year.

The role will involve supporting children with Autism (ASC) who may present challenging behaviour within a mainstream classroom. The school is seeking a confident and patient individual with strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting children with additional needs.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC) in class and in small groups
• Managing and supporting challenging behaviour positively
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Supporting pupils' learning, social development, and emotional regulation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour is essential
• Experience working in a primary school or SEN setting
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
