Senior Account Manager, Amazon Shipping (SWA)

Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Senior Key Account Manager for the UK. We are seeking an account manager excited about working in a start-up environment, with familiarity in B2B sales and account management for Extra Large and Enterprise-level customers.

The successful Sr. Account Manager should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, developing relationships across diverse customer bases, driving commercial growth, and collaborating effectively with teams such as Business, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets is essential.

This role can be based in London or Manchester, involving moderate travel (up to 25%).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own strategy and drive commercial growth for very large enterprise customers.
  2. Increase revenue, adoption, and market segment share for our product.
  3. Build trust with customers (shippers) and recommend solutions that meet their business needs, aiming to exceed revenue and feature adoption targets.
  4. Measure performance, analyze root causes, and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Communicate market segment needs to internal Amazon teams.
  6. Analyze purchasing processes and identify opportunities to enhance user experience, reduce costs, and improve organizational performance.
  7. Promote product adoption by advising customers on best practices.
  8. Assess risks, anticipate challenges, and manage escalations.
  9. Develop, negotiate, and execute business agreements.
  10. Manage programs across cross-functional teams, build processes, and coordinate release schedules.
  11. Interpret data to make informed business recommendations.

Qualifications include experience in a professional field or military, developing strategies influencing leadership decisions, and managing complex legal agreements.
