Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Salary: £37,000-£39,000

Employment Type: Full time

Years of relevant experience: 3+ years

Location: Camden, minimum 2 days a week in the office, 5 days during probationary period

Who are we?

ethix is an 8 person digital marketing agency based in Camden. We’ve been running for 5 and a half years, specialising in paid social & paid search.


We think digital marketing is best when it’s connected with a purpose, so we only work with purpose-led organisations. These are typically either charities, impact organisations, sustainable brands, or arts & cultural institutions. Whatever the cause, we help clients do good, better.


What will you do?

We’re looking for someone confident in managing paid search & social campaigns to work across 3-5 clients. 


The role will predominantly be working on Meta & Google Ads campaigns, with opportunities to work on other social media platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, DV360, and TikTok. At the Senior Account Manager level, you will be expected to work independently and be able to lead on small to medium sized clients and own parts of larger clients.


Day to day tasks:

  • Producing & presenting the paid search & social strategy for your managed channels
  • Planning, building & managing Meta & Google Ads campaigns
  • Owning & analysing performance of managed channels, making appropriate optimisations
  • Writing regular reports (weekly, monthly etc) and leading on calls (or sections of calls for larger clients)
  • Client relationship ownership on small to medium sized clients
  • Overseeing more junior team members

Essential skills & experience:

  • At least 3 years experience working in paid search & social (agency-side or in-house)
  • Experience leading paid search / account accounts (or areas of accounts for larger clients)
  • The ability to build, manage and report on campaigns independently
  • Confident leading client calls
  • Confident in producing & presenting strategy / performance presentations
  • Confident with data analysis & handling large data sets
  • Confident with data analysis in Google Sheets / Excel
  • Experience delegating to junior team members & ensuring they produce quality work


Bonus skills & experience:

  • Experience with ecomm clients (e.g. managing PMax, optimising Shopping Feeds)
  • Using Adverity to build data sources & building Looker Studio dashboards
  • Using & integrating CRMs to ad platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp)
  • Setting up & vetting tracking in Google Tag Manager
