Hayward Hawk is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join out client's established and expanding accountancy practice. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships while supporting and developing junior staff. What You'll Do: Preparation and review of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients Preparation of associated tax computations and returns Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships Training, mentoring, and reviewing work of junior team members Ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance, and service delivery across all assignments What You'll Need: ACA or ACCA qualified Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice Strong technical grounding in accounts preparation Experience using cloud-based accounting software Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant IT systems Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Whats You'll Get: Opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking practice Exposure to a broad and interesting client base Supportive team environment with clear progression opportunities Competitive salary Great benefits package
