Robert Half are currently recruiting for a contract Senior Accounts Assistant role in Southampton to start in January.
The role will be working full-time, Monday to Friday onsite in Southampton - free parking is available.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Ledger:
Match purchase invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
Code invoices accurately and ensure proper authorisation.
Process invoices through Sage 200 using Document Automation.
Reconcile supplier statements, allocate payments, and investigate variances.
Handle supplier queries promptly and professionally.
Manage weekly payment runs and ad-hoc payments as required.
Check, process, and pay employee expenses
Reconcile company credit cards on
Complete month-end reconciliations and close the Purchase Ledger.
Receivables Ledger:
Post cashbook receipts into Sage 200.
Perform monthly cashbook and bank account reconciliations.
Generate and distribute month-end customer statements.
Reconcile and close the Receivables Ledger at month-end.
Respond to customer queries and manage credit control activities.
Conduct credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
You must be able to oversee a team of 2 people.
