Responsibilities

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will:

* Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial developments, mixed-use schemes, and infrastructure initiatives. * Provide expert guidance to clients on acoustic design, noise mitigation, and compliance with relevant standards. * Conduct advanced modelling and analysis using tools such as CadnaA and ODEON. * Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for stakeholders. * Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering their professional growth. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in acoustic consultancy. * Strong expertise in building acoustics, sound insulation, and BB93 compliance. * Proficiency in acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA or ODEON. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * A proven track record of mentoring and leading project teams. * A full UK driving licence.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will involve:

* Engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored acoustic solutions. * Conducting site visits and assessments to gather data for analysis. * Developing and reviewing acoustic models to inform project designs. * Collaborating with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate acoustic considerations into broader project goals. * Supporting junior team members through training and project oversight. * Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
