The opportunity As a Senior Thematic Insights Analyst for Geopolitics, you will become an expert in geopolitics and geostrategy, shaping EY’s distinctive perspective on client issues. You will lead specific programs, deliver high‑impact analysis on geopolitical developments, and guide organizations and clients on how to adapt. Recognized as a subject‑matter expert, you will provide analytical support and strategic advice to both clients and EY leadership. This role is open across the US and UK. Your Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong internal brand to become recognized within EY as a leader and subject‑matter expert at the business unit and executive level. Engage with senior domain stakeholders to provide commercial perspectives on issues, challenges, and opportunities, preparing insightful analysis of the impact of those trends for EY and its clients. Participate in client meetings and represent the firm at selected events to strengthen EY’s market presence. Collaborate with domain stakeholders and EY colleagues across Insights, Clients and Industries to support business development activities and service delivery. Work with the Lead Analyst for Geopolitics to support the development of the Insights strategy for the domain, based on business priorities and a detailed understanding of domain dynamics. Lead the creation of insights by leveraging EY’s proprietary knowledge and collaborating with Clients and Industries colleagues. Identify cross‑domain collaboration opportunities and share insights with other Insights and Clients and Industries teams. Synthesize diverse perspectives and sources to develop compelling insights that drive results. Use qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to provide analytical insights. Coach less‑experienced team members to improve their skills in research, analysis, data analytics, and visualization.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong presentation skills with experience influencing senior clients and internal decision‑makers. Demonstrated 10+ years of relevant experience in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment. A proactive self‑starter, bringing new ideas for insights to leadership. Collaborative and able to work effectively in a global, multi‑cultural environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely. Ability to proactively build a network of internal and external contacts to shape insights. Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What We Offer You We provide a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with base salaries in the US ranging from $138,200 to $266,000, and regional adjustments for major markets.
