We’re recruiting on behalf of leading company for a GC-MS Analytical Chemist/ Team Leader to join their state-of-the-art laboratory.

This is a key role leading a team of lab analyst, delivering high-quality environmental testing across complex matrices using advanced GC-MS / GC-MS/MS instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead GC-MS analytical projects to meet targets
• Operate & troubleshoot GC-MS / GC-MS/MS instrumentation
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Develop and optimise analytical methods
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 quality standards

About You

• BSc in Chemistry (or related)
• Strong GC-MS / GC-MS/MS experience
• Background in an accredited lab (ideally environmental)
• Experience mentoring or leading Analysts
• Skilled in troubleshooting and method development
