THE COMPANY:

This short-term loans company is focused on providing quick, affordable, and transparent financial solutions to customers facing urgent expenses such as car repairs, plumbing, or dental work. Recently acquired by an international investment firm, the business is undergoing significant investment to expand its presence in the UK lending market. With a strong emphasis on growth and market share, the company is preparing to broaden its product offerings and credit options, signalling exciting opportunities for development and impact in the near future.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a broad, high-impact role offering exposure across the business. You'll work across collections, credit, marketing, and digital – depending on your background and interests – with a focus on delivering insight, driving strategy, and supporting leadership through data.

Key responsibilities include:

Drive performance insights across the lending portfolio to identify growth opportunities and improve customer outcomes Lead predictive modelling projects supporting credit strategies, marketing performance, and new product development Partner with senior stakeholders to inform commercial decisions with data-driven insights Manage and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality output and upskilling in SQL/SAS Collaborate with credit, marketing, and digital teams on cross-functional data initiatives Support new product launches with forecasting, segmentation, and customer engagement analytics Own end-to-end analytics projects, from scoping and data exploration through to delivery and presentation Ensure compliance with FCA advertising guidelines and uphold data integrity standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The Senior Analytics Manager will have the following skills and experience:

You must come from a banking, lending, or financial services background You must understand FCA advertising guidelines You must have previous management experience You need to have a coding background (SQL or SAS) in order to support the team Experience with statistical modelling in a digital or marketing context
