We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Applications Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Senior Applications Engineer role

Salary: £48,000-£52,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Thursday 8.30am-4.45pm Friday 8.30am-1.30pm

Responsibilities of the Senior Applications Engineer

* Lead selection of bespoke pumping equipment

* Preparation and delivery of quotations for large-scale pumping systems

* Provide technical expertise during the quotation process

* Supporting the Commercial Manager

* Keep data recording systems up to date

* Technical support

Requirements for a successful Senior Applications Engineer

* HND in Mechanical Engineering

* Experience in pump selection

* Experience in preparing and delivering quotations

* Experience in the wastewater industry or similar sectors

* Experience in working within an ISO quality system

* Proficient in pump selection software and technical tools
