Senior Architectural Technologist Location: Chelmsford Salary: £44-48,000 A well-established architectural practice in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to support the delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes. This is a senior-level role within a growing technical team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects from post-planning through to construction while working closely with developers, consultants and internal design teams. Key Responsibilities * Production of detailed technical and construction drawing packages * Coordination with consultants and external stakeholders * Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements * Technical delivery of projects across RIBA stages 4-6 * Supporting and mentoring junior team members * Liaising directly with clients and project teams Requirements * Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or similar * Significant experience within a UK architectural practice * Strong background in residential projects, ideally developer-led schemes * Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations * Proficiency in AutoCAD * Strong technical detailing and problem-solving skills * Confident communicator with a collaborative approach Benefits * Competitive salary * Hybrid working * Generous holiday allowance + Christmas shutdown * Pension and healthcare * Professional subscriptions paid I look forward to hearing from you soon!
