Competitive Salary
HOURS: Basic hours 8:00am – 17.00pm Mon – Fri lunch 1:00-1:30pm, but overtime hours worked are expected to be in line with Production. Due to seasonal variations within the business these hours are regularly extended in the Winter, or may be reduced in the Summer. HOLIDAYS: 24 days per annum (3 or 4 days to be taken over Christmas shut-down), plus public holidays.
JOB PURPOSE Working alongside the Workshop Manager, this key role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of our bespoke products safely, on time, cost effectively and to the high standards of quality our customers have come to expect. Part of achieving this will be through the effective leadership of the production team, ensuring efficient productivity via positive management and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Responsibilities
• Take the lead in assembly of high-quality mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and frameworks • Read detailed CAD models and drawings for bespoke components and assemblies. • Recommend innovative solutions for complex mechanical challenges. • Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and compliance requirements. • Work closely with subcontract machinists, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability. • Support assembly team with technical and engineering solutions •...
