They are seeking a Senior Assembly Technician to join their team.
The Role As a Senior Assembly Technician, you will play a key role within the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) function, supporting the build and integration of high-precision space hardware.
Key Responsibilities Assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies, and systems in accordance with technical drawings and work instructions Perform electrical wiring, cable harnessing and connector terminations to recognised industry standards (e.g.
IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620) Carry out soldering and rework activities in line with IPC-J-STD-001 Create and maintain risk assessments Accurately record test data and complete all required project and quality documentation Key Skills and Experience: ONC / HNC / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 510 years experience in a hands-on assembly, integration or test role, ideally within aerospace, defence or electronics Strong practical skills in mechanical fitting, wiring and assembly Ability to read and xehkeey interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams Experience using hand tools, torque tools and test equipment (e.g.
