Madison Berkeley are delighted to be partnering with a private family office based in Mayfair to appoint a Senior Asset Manager responsible for the active management and performance optimisation of a significant UK real estate portfolio.

The portfolio is focused primarily on multi-let industrial estates and business parks, and the successful candidate will take genuine ownership of assets across the full lifecycle — from leasing and tenant engagement through to CAPEX delivery, development opportunities and strategic asset planning.

This is a highly autonomous role within a lean, high-calibre team, offering direct exposure to principals and the opportunity to influence both asset-level strategy and portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Negotiating new lettings, lease renewals and rent reviews across multi-let industrial estates

• Managing tenant relationships and driving occupier retention

• Overseeing service charges, business rates strategy and void cost management

• Identifying and delivering value-add initiatives and CAPEX programmes

• Contributing to development appraisals, asset business plans and hold/sell analysis

• Working closely with site teams, external advisers and the investment function

The ideal candidate will have:

• circa 10 years experience in UK commercial real estate with a strong industrial focus

• Demonstrable experience managing multi-let estates or business parks

• MRICS qualification (or equivalent)

• A commercial, hands-on approach to asset management and value creation
