About the Role…
A Senior Associate Building Surveyor is being sought to join a Building Surveying team based in Oxfordshire. This position involves leading and delivering a wide range of professional and project-based building surveying services for clients across the private and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex commissions, supporting junior team members, driving business development, and contributing to the strategic growth of the building surveying discipline.

The Senior Associate Building Surveyor will:

Act as Lead Consultant to deliver a range of projects, initially focused on Building Surveying, with opportunities to expand into broader project areas
Work independently with support from senior colleagues and junior team members as required
Prepare project specifications and tender documentation
Assist with building regulation and planning applications, liaising with authorities when necessary
Manage workload, project deadlines, and client programmes
Oversee the design and drawing preparation process
Assess contractor tenders and provide recommendations to clients
Chair and minute project meetings
Administer construction contracts
Manage project expenditure to ensure delivery on time and within budget
Negotiate and settle final accounts with contractors
Ensure all documentation is accurate and of the highest qualityEssential Skills, Experience, and Attributes…

Degree in Building Surveying
