Job Description

We are supporting a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong national presence and a reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across the public and private sectors. They are known for combining technical excellence with a collaborative, client-focused approach.

They are currently seeking leading QS talent - either a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate level - to join and help lead a flagship programme. This is a unique opportunity, both in terms of project scope and exposure, and as a chance to step up into a higher-profile, influential role.

The programme is a £120m+ Blue Light campus redevelopment of national importance, spanning twelve buildings and encompassing new build, complex refurbishment, and major modernisation works, all delivered within a coordinated campus-style masterplan.

The Role

As a Senior / Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Take a lead delivery and client advisory role, managing commercial delivery and providing strategic input across multiple workstreams
  • Operate at programme level on one of the UK’s most high-profile public-sector projects
  • Administer NEC3/NEC4 or JCT contracts, including change control, compensation events, and governance reporting
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Engage with stakeholders and clients across a complex, high-sensitivity programme
  • Oversee procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure delivery in line with programme objectives, timelines, and budgets

About You

  • Senior or Associate level QS experience within a consultancy or similar environment
  • Background in public sector or complex mixed-use developments, ideally Blue Light projects
  • Experience delivering large-scale projects (£50m+)
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 or JCT contract administration
  • Commercially astute with excellent technical QS expertise
  • MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Why Join

  • Career-defining exposure on a nationally significant programme
  • Step-up opportunity to take a leading role and influence at programme level
  • Clear progression path within a respected, multidisciplinary consultancy
  • Collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values autonomy, trust, and professional development
  • Hybrid working supporting flexibility and work-life balance
  • Competitive package: £60–75k + benefits (dependent on experience)

This is a standout opportunity to shape, deliver, and advise at programme level while gaining visibility and influence on one of the UK’s most high-profile public-sector programmes.
