Senior Associate, Stamp Taxes – London EY Overview We are looking for a motivated Senior Associate to join the Stamp Taxes team at EY. This role will advise on all areas of stamp taxes and ATED for a wide range of UK and international clients, including multinational corporations, developers, investment banks, fund managers, investors, lenders and public bodies. The Opportunity The successful candidate will work with existing clients, build and expand the client network, and help deliver quality outputs. You will contribute to projects such as:

IPO’s and listings Inversions, take-overs and cross-border mergers International reorganisations and restructurings Property transactions Real estate and share fund transactions Financial service transactions Due diligence Liaising with HMRC Stamp Taxes

Your Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contributing to winning new clients Manage the successful delivery of stamp tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business‑driven approach Extract maximum value for both EY and clients from delivered services while managing risk appropriately

Skills and Attributes for Success

Experienced tax/legal practitioner with reviewing skills and some expertise in Stamp Taxes Client‑driven and strategically and commercially aware Excellent communicator in written and oral situations Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work Strong and motivated team player

Qualifications

ACA/ATT/CTA or international equivalent / Law qualification Stamp Tax experience Graduate/Graduate calibre or equivalent work experience
