We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person with UK Power Network authorisation to support a long-term project across the London region.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe control, operation, and management of electrical systems in line with UKPN safety rules, ensuring works are delivered safely and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Senior Authorised Person under UKPN Safety Rules

*

Issue and cancel safety documents

*

Manage outages, switching, and access to the network

*

Ensure compliance with UKPN procedures and industry standards

*

Interface with project teams, control rooms, and site personnel

*

Support planned and reactive works across the network

Requirements

*

Current UKPN SAP authorisation (essential)

*

Proven experience operating as a SAP on UK distribution networks

*

Strong knowledge of electrical safety rules and procedures

*

Ability to work independently across multiple sites

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
