Location : Wandsworth Road, London ( please check your commute) Salary : up to £46,000 per annum + great benefits Hours : 48 hours, 5 out of 7days, 3 shift patterns, including some 3am starts
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior (Sous) Chef Baker to join a highly skilled team in a state-of-the-art production kitchen in SW London. You will work closely with the team, leading and mentoring them to produce exceptional breads using the finest ingredients.

Key responsibilities:
Leading the team of 10 in leading daily bread production, ensuring consistency and excellence
Prepare and bake a wide variety of goods such as bread, Viennoiserie, brioche, short pastries and other baked items, following methods and recipes in place
Ensure that all products are prepared to high standards of taste, texture, and presentation, following the standard instructed by the head of department.
Train, mentor, and oversee junior bakers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team
Maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and hygiene in the bakery
Innovate and refine recipes, working with the wider team on seasonal product development
You'll be a great fit if you:
Have experience as a Senior Baker in a fine-dining, 5* hotel or high-end production kitchen
Are skilled in traditional and modern bread techniques including shaping and mixing
Have a passion for working with the finest, freshest ingredients
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment and lead by example
Are detail-oriented with a strong sense of organisation and efficiency
