Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experienced Senior Bartender to join its dedicated team.
Built in 1687 by the King's architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.
Prestonfield is very proud of its award-winning cellar so this is an opportunity to work and expand your knowledge with a notable collection of wines and our highly-regarded Head Sommelier. Prestonfield currently hold the AA's Wine Award for Scotland and a rare Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
Our package includes:
The on-target potential for this role is £27,040.00 based on £13.00 per hour, 40 hour contract plus a substantial share of the staff gratuities at £8,000 per annum
Permanent full time contract working 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7.

28 days holiday rising to 32 after 5 years' service

Candidates for this position should have WSET Higher Certificate and have previous experience in a similar establishment. Strong wine knowledge is beneficial however we will provide extensive training and will help you to develop your skills in a nurturing environment.
Candidates should have Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training or candidates will be required to complete Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training during probationary period.
