We are working with a highly succesful, design-led fashon business specialising in the development of trend-driven fashion and lifestyle products who are seeking a Senior Boyswear & Babywear Designer.This role sits within a collaborative design team and requires a strong balance of creativity, technical expertise, and commercial awareness to deliver high-quality childrenswear ranges from concept through to production.Main Responsibilities Will Include:Conducting in-depth trend research, including global influences, colour direction, and key silhouettes relevant to babywear and boyswear.Designing innovative and commercially viable product ranges.Creating and presenting mood boards, design concepts, and range plans to internal teams and external stakeholders.Producing detailed, production-ready technical packs including CADs.Liaising with international manufacturing partners to ensure accurate execution of designs.Managing the sampling process, including fit sessions, providing clear feedback.Overseeing critical path and timelines to ensure timely delivery of designs and samples in line with seasonal deadlines.Person Specification:Proven experience in childrenswear design, ideally within boyswear and/or babywear.Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Solid technical understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and the development of accurate technical packs.Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret trends into products that meet customer needs and market demands.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.JBRP1_UKTJ
