Looking to step into a senior role where you can lead sustainable design and shape low-carbon outcomes on major projects?\n\nWe're supporting a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a growing sustainability team, delivering energy and low-carbon design solutions across complex projects in property, education, defence and government sectors. This is an opportunity to take ownership of technical delivery, client engagement and team development, working on impactful schemes across the UK. \n \nWhy Join This Team?\n\n·Lead delivery of high-profile, sustainability-led projects across multiple sectors \n·Opportunity to shape design strategies from early concept through to delivery \n·Strong focus on innovation, R&D and technical excellence \n·Supportive environment with clear progression and mentoring responsibilities \n·Flexible, hybrid working with a mix of home, office and project-based work \n \nKey Responsibilities:\n\n·Lead delivery of energy modelling, carbon analysis and sustainability strategies \n·Produce planning-ready sustainability and energy reports \n·Develop low-carbon design solutions and influence early-stage project decisions \n·Carry out thermal comfort, operational energy and HVAC modelling \n·Engage directly with clients, leading workshops and technical discussions \n·Manage project workstreams, ensuring delivery on time and within budget \n·Mentor junior team members and support team development \n·Contribute to R&D and continuous improvement initiatives \n \nWhat they're Looking For:\n\n·Proven experience in sustainable design, building performance or energy modelling \n·Strong working knowledge of Part L and UK building performance standards \n·Experience using IES VE or similar dynamic simulation tools \n·Background in non-domestic energy assessments (HVAC modelling desirable) \n·Confident in client-facing roles and leading technical discussions \n·Ability to manage projects and support junior staff \n·Degree or Master's in a relevant discipline \n·Willingness to obtain security clearance \n \nThis is a strong opportunity for a Senior Sustainable Design Consultant to take a leading role in delivering low-carbon, high-performance buildings, while helping shape the direction of a growing team.
