Our client, a specialist construction consultancy with a Bristol office serving the South West, is recruiting a Senior Building Surveyor . This hands‑on role combines site inspections of high‑ and low‑rise residential buildings, detailed report writing and management of subsequent remediation and contract administration. The post involves regular client engagement with freeholders, building managers, developers, public sector bodies and housing associations, and requires frequent site travel across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Building Inspections — Carry out detailed surveys of high‑rise and low‑rise residential buildings, identify and document defects and structural issues. Defect Analysis and Remedial Solutions — Produce clear, technically robust reports that explain defects and recommend practical remediation options. Report Writing and Contract Administration — Prepare high‑quality reports, manage contract administration for remediation works and support resident liaison processes.
