As Senior Building Surveyor you will plan and manage project resources, prepare, and oversee designs / reports, and have day-to-day control of internal costs and fee invoices. Thisis an exciting opportunity to mentor junior staff, guiding them in theirtechnical development and helping to shape the next generation ofprofessionals. In this position, you will engage directly with clients andother key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that drive projectsuccess. Expect to contribute to a diverse array of projects in Bristol and theSouth West region, including a prestigious flagship heritage scheme thatshowcases your expertise.

Your core responsibilities will include:
- Running large and/or complex projects, monitoring progress and expenditure, and planning and managing project resources.
- Providing assistance with the bid process and undertaking business development activities.
- Preparing and overseeing designs and reports.
- Undertaking surveys in accordance with the firms procedures.
- Representing the firm at client meetings, presentations etc.
- Monitoring day to day programming and planning.
- Assisting with planning and managing project resources including technical development of junior staff.

About YouOur ideal Senior Building Surveyor will have:
- A strong understanding of building principles, along with the ability to prepare plans and specifications.
- Prior experience already working within a Building Surveying role.
- The ability to work well in a team and motivated to deliver excellence.
- A commitment to providing a high-quality client experience.
- The ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- RICS Chartered status.
