Senior Building Surveyor - LondonSalary: Up to £65,000 + £4,000 Car Allowance + 10% Discretionary BonusLocation: LondonAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a MRICS Building Surveyor to join a highly regarded international property consultancy within their established Building Consultancy team in London.This role will suit a Senior Surveyor (or Surveyor looking to step up) with strong experience in commercial dilapidations and professional instructions, seeking exposure to a wide range of investor and corporate occupier clients across the UK and EMEA. Projects range from individual assets through to large portfolio and platform instructions.The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering commercially focused professional building surveying services across a varied client base. Key areas of work will include:Lead Consultancy & Contract AdministrationPreparation and negotiation of Schedules of Dilapidations (Landlord & Tenant)Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedulesRefurbishment and maintenance adviceDefect diagnosis and technical reportingCommercial advice to investor and occupier clientsYou will manage client relationships and project teams, ensuring successful delivery of building surveying instructions across professional workstreams.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver professional building consultancy advice across dilapidations and contract administration instructionsManage projects from inception through to completionPrepare and negotiate dilapidations claims on behalf of landlords or tenantsUndertake building surveys for investment and occupational purposesPrepare PPM schedules and refurbishment adviceProvide commercially focused defect analysisWork collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environmentSupport business development and client relationship growthContribute positively to team objectives and wider business plansRequirementsMRICS qualifiedExperience delivering dilapidations instructions on commercial assetsExperience acting in Lead Consultant / Contract Administrator capacityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage workload independently and meet deadlinesCommercially aware with strong attention to detailExperience working within multi-disciplinary project teamsFull UK driving licenceFor more information on this exciting opportunity please contact CharmaineAldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
