As a building surveyor, you will be hands-on with surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, and project management. You'll be part of a team delivering high-quality building surveying services across commercial, education, healthcare, and public sector projects, gaining exposure to a wide range of professional disciplines while developing your expertise.
The Role As the building surveyor, you will manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring clients receive clear, accurate, and timely information.
The role will include: * Delivering projects, commissions, and professional assignments from start to finish * Undertaking building surveys, condition reports, and dilapidations instructions * Managing design, specification, and contract administration tasks * Visiting sites to conduct surveys, inspections, and project monitoring * Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle * Producing detailed reports tailored to each stage of the project
The Senior Building Surveyor? You will be a committed and technically capable individual with a strong interest in delivering building surveying services across a variety of sectors. Applications from non-Construction related building surveyor backgrounds will not be considered.
The Senior Building Surveyor must have: * A degree in Building Surveying or a related property discipline * Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) * Proven experience delivering building surveying services across private or public sector projects * Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively with project teams * Experience in surveys, project management, or contract administration * Knowledge of AutoCAD or NBS is beneficial
